The Resolution on Further Deepening Comprehensive Reform for Chinese Modernization, released on July 21, 2024, spearheads economic structural reform and outlines a comprehensive reform plan across various sectors. In a joint initiative with the Shanghai Information Office and the Shanghai Federation of Social Science Associations, Shanghai Daily interviewed local scholars to explore the benefits of these reforms in capital markets, urban-rural integration, elderly care, foreign and private investments, national security, cultural exchange for advancing China's modernization.
