Cross-border payment company Airwallex said on Tuesday it had completed a new round of financing worth US$100 million to become a fintech unicorn.
The newly fundraising, led by DST Global, will be used to explore the global market and invest in technological research and development, said Airwallex CEO Jack Zhang.
Hong Kong-based Airwallex offers services for sectors including cross-border e-commerce, online tourism, logistics, education, finance, digital marketing and online entertainment.
It has received a total of US$202 million in investment in three rounds of financing.
