Passengers in Yili Road Station on Metro Line 10 are evacuated yesterday afternoon as smoke spread through the station from a malfunction in the machine room, the Metro operator said. No one was hurt in the incident, which occurred about 5:30pm, but trains did not stop at the station until the smoke was cleared about 20 minutes later. The cause is being investigated.
