Expanded Jing'an celebrates its third anniversary
A picture album featuring Jing'an's landmarks.
Jing’an District has released a new promotional video, a picture album and a set of postcards to celebrate the third anniversary of its merger.
Currently, Jing’an covers about 37 square kilometers after merging with neighboring Zhabei District in November 2015.
The video features the efforts of the expanded Jing’an over the past three years to make it a commercial hub, a top cultural landmark and an example of “smart city.”
Photos for the picture album and postcards were selected from works of photographers and shutterbugs who took part in a photo contest this year. The district’s landmarks such as the historical Shanghai Exhibition Center and joyful moments such as the tulip exhibition at Daning Park are included.
