The mobile terminal of Shanghai's one-stop platform of government affairs, which offers residents online access to more than 1,000 public services, is unveiled on Friday.

The mobile terminal of Shanghai's one-stop platform of government affairs, which offers residents online access to more than 1,000 public services, was officially named on Friday and has more than 10 million users, the city government announced.

The app was named Suishenban Citizen Cloud, which means services can be handled anywhere, with shen symbolizing Shanghai, and the city's one-stop platform of government affairs includes 1,274 public services covering birth and marriage, culture and education, tourism, social security, transportation, medical treatment and health, plus legal services and senior care.

Detailed items include marriage reservations, medical treatment payment, tax services, real-time traffic conditions, pension inquiries, weather forecasts, traffic violation inquiries, hospital registration, legal mediation applications and tourism complaints.

A total of 75,000 public service applications were handled via the platform daily.

Information of residents is shared by 39 government authorities connected with the platform, and residents are able to apply for 167 services at 220 community affairs service centers citywide.

They don't need to bring their material when visiting the centers once their 16 electronic certificates and licenses such as marriage certificates, identification cards, business licenses, driving licenses, and residence permits are recorded by the platform.

The app uses technologies such as mobile Internet, artificial intelligence and big data.
