Radio Shanghai’s Love Radio held a music gala on Saturday to celebrate Chinese pop music.
The gala was attended by singers including Pu Shu, Steve Chou and Yang Yuying.
Well-known song writers and producers such as Eric Lin and Li Haiying also shared their stories about creating classic songs such as “Listening to the Sea” and “Half Moon.”
In its third year, the annual gala pays tribute to original Chinese music. Modern and diverse music styles are also encouraged to give new interpretation of classic songs.
