Cangnan County offers discounts to Shanghai tourists

Cangnan County in Wenzhou City, neighboring Zhejiang Province, is offering half-price admission at five of its landmark tourist attractions for Shanghai residents to boost winter tourism, the county government announced.
The five attractions are Yucang Mountain, the Yuliao scenic area, Wanyao Village, Yanting Town, and the Shijutang scenic area.
The Wanyao Village is known for its ceramic culture, ancient stage, porcelain making industry and old residences dating back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
The Shijutang scenic area boasts peculiar rock formations and hidden caves.
The Yucang Mountain scenic area features peculiar rocks, beautiful sunrises, cloud sea views, and the Fayun Temple which dates to the Song Dynasty (960-1279).
The discount offer lasts till the end of December.
Cangnan has beautiful sea views with a 168.8 kilometer coastline.
Authorities in Cangnan said they will step up integration into the Yangtze River Delta region, as well as cultural and tourism cooperation and exchanges with Shanghai.
