Two more coronavirus patients in Shanghai discharged

The two latest coronavirus patients released from hospital are a 35-year-old Shanghai native and a 64-year-old from Hubei Province.

Two more coronavirus patients in Shanghai were discharged on Tuesday after recovery, according to the city's health commission.

So far, 12 patients in Shanghai have been discharged upon recovery.

A 35-year-old male patient, surnamed Ding, is a Shanghai native. He had traveled in Hubei Province. He went to the hospital for fever and was confirmed with coronavirus infection on January 21. He was then transferred to Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, the designated hospital for coronavirus treatment.

Another patient is a 64-year-old woman surnamed Zhou. She is a native of Hubei Province and had contact with a confirmed patient. She went to the hospital for fever and cough. She was confirmed with infection on January 23 and transferred to Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center.

So far, Shanghai has reported a total of 208 coronavirus cases.
