The verstion for office workers

Posters providing tips on the fight against the novel coronavirus in eight languages have been put up in neighborhoods and office buildings in Jing’an District.

The posters are in Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Russian and Spanish. There are two versions, one for residents and the other for office workers.

Residents are told to keep hands sanitized, frequently open the windows and prepare thermometers, disposable masks and household sterilization supplies, among other advice.

Of the advice for family members with suspected symptoms, people are suggested to try to avoid the public transportation, tell the doctor the travel and residence history in epidemic areas and disinfect the places and objects touched by suspected patients.

For office workers, there are nine tips in fields such as dining, gathering, ventilation, elevator-taking, and other high risky behaviors.

The posters have been distributed to the eight subdistricts, including Jing’ansi and Nanjing Road W. where are popular among foreigners and home to many regional headquarters of multinational companies.

The Jing’an Youth Intellectuals Friendship Association made the posters based on the official guide by the district’s health authority. Students and teachers from the Shanghai Shixi High School also offered help.
