3 new coronavirus cases reported, totaling 331

Three new COVID-19 cases were reported in the city on Monday morning, with another 57 suspected cases ruled out, the Shanghai Health Commission announced.

So far, the city has reported 331 infections and ruled out 1,749 suspected cases.

Among all the confirmed patients, aged between 7 months and 88 years old, with 172 male and 159 female, 144 have traveled or lived in Hubei Province, 33 have traveled or lived in non-Hubei regions, and 154 have had contact history with the infected. 

A total of 109 patients are from outside the city, while 222 are local residents, including those with registered residency and people staying in the city for over six months.

According to the Shanghai Health Commission, 172 patients are stable, four are in serious condition and 14 are critical. A total of 140 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital. 

There has been one local fatality, and another 117 suspected cases are undergoing tests.
