A total of 48 A-level tourist attractions in the city have reopened, along with museums, art galleries, libraries and cultural centers, Shanghai's cultural and tourism authorities said on Saturday.

These include Shanghai Museum, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the China Art Museum and Shanghai Library, the Shanghai Culture and Tourism Administration told a press conference.

Some Internet bars, karaokes, and entertainment and amusement venues in the city have also reopened.

More than 10 A-level scenic spots such as the Shanghai Wild Animal Park, six museums and art galleries, and 11 libraries and cultural centers will reopen on Sunday and Monday, according to the administration.

"We have ordered a number of visitor-oriented safety measures," said Zhang Qi, deputy director of the administration.

"The operators of tourist attractions and Huangpu River cruise tours have been required to keep visitor number under half of capacity to prevent large gatherings, and items such as crutches, wheelchairs, umbrellas and audio guides rented to visitors are disinfected after each use," said Zhang.

The same measure applies to museums and art galleries which must use audio guides, QR codes and WeChat accounts to  guide visitors," he said.

They should also stagger visits and make visitors keep a safe distance.
