All inbound passengers from overseas arriving in Shanghai must undergo 14-day quarantine for medical observation starting from 6pm on Thursday (March 26) to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the city's coronavirus disease prevention and control authorities announced.
Inbound diplomats and personnel involved in important economic and trade, scientific research and technology cooperation will follow other regulations, authorities said.
