Gritty urban TV drama “Quiet Among Disquiet” has finished shooting in Shanghai.
The drama is the brainchild of director Xue Xiaolu, known for hit movies “The Whistleblower” and “Ocean Heaven.” It stars veteran actors Ma Yili, Xu Yajun and Wang Dalu.
Adapted from fashion celebrity Wang Xin’s novel, it is the story of the entrepreneurship, dreams and team work of a group of young fashion magazine publishers.
The series also provides an insight into the 20-year development of China’s fashion industry and the profound influences of China’s reform and opening-up.
