Major construction on the Fengxian branch of the Shanghai International Peace Maternity and Child Health Hospital is now complete, officials announced on Friday.
Once operational, the new facility will have 500 beds and offer medical services in obstetrics, gynecology, pediatric and reproductive health.
The hospital will include a reproduction center, a fetal medical center, a prenatal diagnosis center and a female disease center, hospital officials said.
The new hospital is expected to start operation in 2022.
