Hong Kong reports 6 new COVID-19 cases, 5,175 in total
Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported six additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the total number of cases to 5,175 in Hong Kong.
The newly-reported cases included three imported ones and three local infections.
The CHP called on the public to observe social distancing and to wear a surgical mask and maintain stringent hand hygiene. Elderly people are strongly urged to avoid going out.
A spokesperson of the CHP urged the public to avoid all non-essential travels in view of the continuing severity of the pandemic and the increasing number of cases.
