Xinhua

A total of 295 young volunteers and 149 youth volunteer groups in China have received honorary titles for their roles in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.

The awarded individuals and groups are representatives of the country's role models emerging from the volunteer services amid the epidemic, including a volunteer team named "Zhiqi" from Wuhan, the city once hardest hit by COVID-19, according to the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC).

The titles were presented by the CYLC Central Committee and the Chinese Young Volunteers Association.
