Driver suspended after daughter does homework on moving taxi roof

A taxi driver from central China has been suspended from his post after his daughter was caught on camera leaning out of the moving taxi to do homework on the roof, The Paper reported.

According to the driver, his daughter climbed out of the car window while he wasn't paying attention as he was chatting with his friend sitting in the passenger seat.

He claims he immediately stopped the car by the roadside when he saw what his daughter was doing through his rear-view mirror about ten seconds later. He even smacked his daughter to teach her a lesson when the taxi came to a stop, he said.

But his side of the story was unable to sway company authorities and the driver has been banned from taxi driving and will be transferred to another position in the taxi company, according to The Paper.
